Here is a brief overview of the UK visa options we specialise in:

  • For individuals who are between 4 and 17 years old and want to study at an independent school in the UK.

  • This allows one parent to come to or stay in the UK to care for their child (or children) where the child is studying at an independent fee-paying school under a Child Student Visa.

  • For individuals who are over 18 years old and have been offered a place on a course by a licensed student sponsor.

  • This allows students who have completed an eligible UK degree to stay in the UK to work, or look for work, for two years (three years for those being awarded doctorates) after they have completed their studies.

  • Currently non-visa nationals do not require a visa to enter the UK for short-term stays for purposes such as tourism, leisure or business.

However, the UK electronic travel authorisation (ETA) for overseas travellers will become a mandatory requirement in late 2024, when the official launch is expected.

  • The Youth Mobility Scheme visa is for young adults from participating countries and territories who wish to experience life in the UK for a period of up to two years (or three years for some countries).

  • The Hong Kong BN(O) Status Holder Visa is an immigration route for Hong Kong British National (Overseas) citizens to live, work and study in the UK.

  • This allows recent graduates of a top global university to live and work in the UK without any sponsorship for two years (or 3 years for PhD or other doctoral qualification), which means you will not be tied to a particular job, you can be employed or self-employed.

  • This is for individuals who want to come to the UK for a short time for work experience for up to 12 months or to do training, research or an Overseas Government Language Programme for up to 24 months.

  • For individuals who have an offer of an eligible skilled job in the UK from a Home Office-approved sponsor.

Any employer who has a legitimate business trading in the UK is eligible to apply for a sponsor licence and to sponsor a migrant a Skilled Worker visa.

The sponsor licence is valid for 4 years and having a licence can be beneficial as any future business growth for the company will not be outweighed by the immigration restrictions and will enable the company to take advantage of the benefits an overseas migrant can bring into their business, as well as having more diversity in the workplace.

  • This visa route is for individual who is a leader or potential leader in academia or research, arts and culture or digital technology.

  • This is suitable for both start-up entrepreneurs and experienced businesspersons who are looking to set up a business in the UK which is innovative, viable and scalable.

Generally, applicants will have a new business idea and the business will not already exist.

  • This allows workers of overseas businesses to send workers to the UK to undertake work on a temporary basis. (This might not be applicable as you are not being employed overseas)

  • If you have a partner who is a British or settled person or a family member of an EEA national, you may be eligible to apply to stay in the UK on the basis of your family life.

  • For individuals who have lived in the UK continuously and lawfully for ten years (under various immigration categories) to settle in the UK on the basis of long residence.

  • For individuals who have been granted indefinite leave to remain (ILR) or have acquired a right of permanent residence in the UK to apply for British Citizenship by Naturalisation or Registration.

  • If you have any other exceptional circumstances or compassionate reasons, or you believe leaving the UK would breach your human rights.

Changes to the Immigration Rules in recent years have created many new opportunities for people to relocate to the UK. However, navigating the UK visa system can be complex and the Immigration Rules contain strict requirements. Consulting with an experienced immigration lawyer is crucial to ensure you understand the most appropriate visa options and comply with all legal requirements.
