Meet the Aspire Guardians Team :
UK Guardianship Experts for International Students

Chief Operations Officer
Suki Thomas
Suki Thomas is Aspire Guardians’ dedicated Designated Safeguarding Lead, bringing extensive experience in supporting international students through their UK educational journey. Originally from Hong Kong, Suki moved to the UK as a teenager to attend boarding school, a time when professional guardianship and safeguarding support were limited. Facing those challenges first-hand inspired her lifelong commitment to ensuring that no international student has to navigate UK boarding school life alone.
At Aspire Guardians, Suki leads our safeguarding strategy, drawing from both personal experience and professional training to create a protective, nurturing environment for students. She specialises in placing students with vetted, compassionate host families and works tirelessly to build strong connections between students, parents, schools, and our team.
Suki collaborates closely with boarding schools across the UK, aligning our care plans with each school’s individual policies and culture. Her proactive communication with Houseparents, Teachers, and School Leadership ensures that every student’s academic, emotional and welfare needs are met consistently.
Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, Suki bridges language and cultural gaps, making her a trusted point of contact for both parents and students. Her ability to connect with families from across Asia and beyond is a cornerstone of Aspire Guardians’ commitment to culturally sensitive, student-centred guardianship services.
